European soccer ‘savvy’ opens his mouth “Cho Kyu-seong, one of Celtic-Minnesota-Mainz”

Amidst the courtship of overseas teams for Cho Kyu-sung, a reporter who is most familiar with the European transfer market opened his mouth

. His claim is that three teams are waiting for Cho Kyu-sung to be selected.

Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano reported on his SNS on the 11th (Korean time) that “Korea’s Kyu-Sung Cho has now received three proposals.”

Cho Kyu-seong scored 17 goals in 31 appearances for Gimcheon and Jeonbuk in the K-League 1 in the 2022 season, and won the top scorer for the first time in his life.

Thanks to his team’s performance, he was included in the final list for the 2022 Qatar World Cup Ben Tuho, and his World Cup performance made his name known to the world.

In particular, he scored two goals with a header in the second game of the group stage against Ghana, becoming the first multi-goal hero in Korea’s World Cup history.

Many clubs that have paid attention to Cho Kyu-sung’s World Cup performance are competing to recruit him as the winter transfer market begins.

Scotland Celtic, Germany’s Mainz, Turkiye Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, and Hungary’s Ferencvaros have been mentioned as clubs interested in Cho Kyu-sung, and news that an MLS team has recently jumped into the scouting competition was reported. 메이저놀이터

In the midst of this, Romano mentioned that exactly three clubs among the many clubs he was currently interested in offered clear scouting offers for Cho Kyu-sung.

Regarding the three proposals, Romano said, “Celtic has a transfer fee of 3 million euros (about 4 billion won) and a 50 percent cell-on clause of 6 million euros (about 8 billion won) in the future, and Minnesota in the United States will offer 5 million euros (about 6.7 billion won). Including transfer fee and 30% cell-on clause. Mainz also offered a transfer fee of close to 3 million euros.”

“Cho Kyu-seong is currently discussing to decide on the next club,” he added, adding that he was thinking about three proposals.

The sell-on clause mentioned by Romano refers to a clause in which a certain amount (rate) of the transfer fee that occurs when re-transferring is handed over to the former team.

If a contract with that clause is signed, Jeonbuk can receive a certain percentage of the transfer fee when Cho Kyu-seong goes to the next team.

It is expected that attention will be drawn to what kind of choice Cho Kyu-seong will make, having been offered from a prestigious Scottish family, the United States, which offered the most transfer fee, and the European big league Bundesliga.
