According to the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) on Tuesday, all tickets for the Lotte Giants-Samsung Lions game at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu at 5 p.m. were sold out.

All 24,000 tickets were claimed by 12 noon, five hours before the game was scheduled to start.

This is the second time Samsung has had a home sellout this season after the opening game against the NC Dinos on April 1.

The KBO, meanwhile, had played 271 games through the previous day (Sept. 9), drawing a total of 3,028,156 fans.안전놀이터

Since the beginning of the season, the league has been enjoying a strong box office, including a strong showing by Lotte, a popular team in the nation’s capital, and is on track to regain pre-COVID-19 attendance levels.

In 2019, the last year before the pandemic, the league reached 3 million fans in 270 games.
