Park Hang-seo’s Last Dance… From the 27th, ‘Korean Director’ opens the Southeast Asian Three Kingdoms

The ‘ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the AFF Championship)’, called the ‘World Cup in Southeast Asia’, will be held from the 20th.

The tournament, which will be held immediately after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will enter a heated competition for about three weeks, and SBS Sports will simultaneously broadcast it live on TV and YouTube.

The reason why this ‘AFF Championship’ is attracting attention is that three Korean leaders, Park Hang-seo, Shin Tae-yong, and Kim Pan-gon, hold the helm of Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia respectively and compete against each other in an unprecedented ‘Southeast Asian Three Kingdoms’.

In this tournament, 10 countries participating in the AFF will be divided into two groups for a group stage. Group A included Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia and Brunei, while Group B included Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar and Laos.

The final match between the leaders of each group will be held on January 13 and 16 next year as the first and second games.

For coach Park Hang-seo, this is the last official competition to lead the Vietnam national team. We are preparing for a splendid finale after 5 years of companionship with Vietnam. Head coach Shin Tae-yong finished runner-up in his first appearance at the Suzuki Cup last year, receiving absolute support from Indonesian fans and expecting another Magic. 안전놀이터

Director Kim Pan-gon, who took over as Malaysian coach this year, will make his debut on the Southeast Asian stage. Indeed, soccer fans around the world are paying attention to the fierce battle of resourcefulness between Korean commanders as to whether Malaysia will become the protagonist of a new sensation.

The Korean Derby, which domestic fans are waiting for the most, will be held on the 27th at 9:20 pm. In the match between Vietnam and Malaysia, which belong to the same Group B, viewers’ attention is focused on the ‘Fateful Confrontation’ between Park Hang-seo and Kim Pan-gon. Shin Tae-yong’s Indonesia, which belongs to Group A, will play its first match against Cambodia on the 23rd.
