The final participant in the professional volleyball foreign player tryout has been decided.
The Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) said on the 12th, “For the 2023 KOVO foreign player tryout, 86 men and 55 women applied, and after evaluation by each club, the top 40 men and women were put on the final list of candidates.”

In the women’s division, Yasmin Bedart (registered name Yasmin), who showed her best skills at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season with a terrifying momentum, but could not complete due to an injury, stands out.
Yasmin played an active role as Hyundai Engineering & Construction’s main gun this season, but failed to overcome an injury and dropped out of the race.

For the men’s division, six players who played an active part in Korea in the 2022-2023 season submitted applications.
Lincoln Williams (registered name Lincoln, former Korean Air), Tyce Dull Host (registered name Thais, former KEPCO), Riverman Agamez (registered name Agamez, former Woori Card), Leonardo Leyva Martinez (registered name Leo, former OK) Financial Group), Andres Viyena (registered name Viyena, former KB Insurance), and Ahmed Iqbairi (registered name Ikbairi, former Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance) will participate.
Okello Daudy, who played for KEPCO in the 2021-2022 season, Yosbani Hernandez, who played for OK Financial Group, Hyundai Capital, and Korean Air, and Goergi Groser, who played for Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in the 2015-2016 season, were also named.

The tryout will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, and the draft will be held after three days of practice matches and meetings for invited players.

It is the first time in four years since 2019 that the V-League has conducted face-to-face tryouts for foreign players.
